Uniform

Greenpark School has a compulsory unisex school uniform. High standards are important and children are expected to wear the correct uniform when attending school, to and from school and at school functions with pride.

The uniform consists of:

  • A Greenpark polo shirt with the school logo on the chest.

  • Anything black on the bottom i.e. shorts, skirt, tights, long pants. These must be plain black with no visible logos or other markings.

  • A Greenpark Polar Fleece Jersey and/or a Greenpark Jacket the school logo on the chest.

  • Any shoes, socks or sandals that are practical for running and playing in at school.

  • A sunhat must be worn in Terms 1 and 4. Students can wear any hat they have at home as long as their head is covered (no visors) and that it is appropriate for school.

  • We also have a Sports T Shirt for students that are in sports teams and all students in Years 4-6 for Physical Education.

Our school uniform can be purchased through NZ Uniforms who are based at 94 Elizabeth Street, Tauranga. They are open Monday-Friday 9am – 5pm and on Saturdays 9am – 1pm. You can contact them on 985 6213 or via their website www.greenparkschool.nzuniforms.com

Please ensure all articles of clothing are named clearly so that items can be returned. We have a lost property box outside the school library that is open during school hours and is cleared at the end of each term.

The wearing of jewellery is discouraged, as is the use of nail polish.  Should children wish to have their ears pierced then no more than one stud may be worn in each ear.

Pupil’s hair is expected to be neat and tidy.  Hair that hangs below the eyes is a hindrance when pupils are working and we ask that parents/caregivers ensure that fringes do not go below the eyes.  Hair tattooing or inscription is also not an accepted practice at Greenpark School.
