P.M.P Programme

P.M.P aims to teach the children perception and understanding of themselves and their world through movement / motor experiences.

How does P.M.P help our children?

P.M.P includes: locomotion, balance, eye/hand and eye/foot coordination, fitness, body image, body control, directionality, body rhythm and special awareness.  These skills are the building blocks for the fundamental skills eg: bounce, roll, hop, jump, skip, swing, dodge, kick.  They are also the skills required for formal learning in areas such as Reading, Writing, Word Study and Mathematics.

Children attend P.M.P three times a week for 30 minute sessions.  The sessions require parent assistance.  We appreciate the parent support that enables these sessions to function.
